Turkmen Korean Language Instructor Trains in Advanced Teaching Methods in South Korea

G. Saparova, a Korean language instructor at Turkmenistanโ€™s Dovletmammet Azadi National Institute of World Languages, is taking part in a professional training program focused on higher education cooperation in Central Asia.

According to The Caspian Post, citing Turkmen media, the program is being held at Kangwon National University in South Korea from January 7 to 15.

The training is organized within the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in science and education between the Turkmen institute and Kangwon National University.

During the program, participants are studying the practical application of effective Korean language teaching methods using the instituteโ€™s educational materials. Particular emphasis is placed on teaching through Korean folk tales, elements of cultural heritage, and authentic learning resources.

The curriculum also includes specialized sessions designed to help teachers prepare students for the international TOPIK Korean language proficiency exam.

Overall, the program seeks to strengthen Korean language teaching methodologies, broaden professional development opportunities for educators, and enhance the quality of language education through international academic cooperation.
