ISLAMABAD: A reception marking Tajikistan’s Independence Anniversary highlighted the importance of sustained cooperation between Pakistan and Tajikistan, with particular emphasis on regional peace, economic development and stronger bilateral engagement.
Participants praised the Tajik Embassy’s efforts to promote people-to-people contacts and deepen mutual understanding between the two countries.
The event not only commemorated Tajikistan’s independence but also reaffirmed the longstanding friendship and close ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
Speakers underscored the need to build on existing cooperation and further strengthen relations in areas of mutual interest, including trade, connectivity and regional stability.
A formal reception to commemorate Tajikistan’s Independence Anniversary is also scheduled to be held in Islamabad next month.
