Dar Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Multilateralism at SCO Silver Jubilee

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday led a cake-cutting ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

The event, marking the 25th anniversary of the regional bloc, was attended by resident ambassadors of SCO member states stationed in Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to multilateralism. He emphasized that the SCO remains a vital platform for driving peace, security, economic connectivity, and shared prosperity across Eurasia.

Dar extended his congratulations to the entire SCO family on reaching the historic milestone and expressed strong confidence in the organization’s future role in fostering deeper regional cooperation and sustainable development.
