Uzbek Leader Lands in Zurich for Davos Diplomacy

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, on a working visit, launching a busy schedule of high-level international engagements.

The head of state was received at Zurich International Airport by Dorit Probst-Sallis, Head of the Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighting the strong business and economic focus of the visit, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Under the official program, President Mirziyoyev is set to travel to Davos on January 22 to attend the signing ceremony of the Charter of the Peace Council, an initiative launched by US President Donald Trump. On the sidelines of the event, the Uzbek leader is also expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings aimed at enhancing international dialogue and cooperation.
