Petrashov Powers to Silver as Kyrgyz Swimmer Shines in US Pro Swim Series

Kyrgyz swimmer Denis Petrashov continued his impressive international run by adding another medal to his collection at the Pro Swim Series in the United States.

Racing in the men’s 200-meter breaststroke in Austin, Petrashov advanced confidently to the final and finished second overall to claim the silver medal, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

He was beaten only by France’s Leon Marchand, a four-time Olympic champion and seven-time world champion.

The latest result brings Petrashov’s total at the prestigious meet to three medals. Earlier in the competition, he also secured silver in the 100-meter and 50-meter breaststroke events, highlighting his strong form and consistency against elite global competition.
