Kazakhstan Names Aida Balayeva as New Deputy Prime Minister

ASTANA: Aida Balayeva has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Trend reported, citing the presidential press service.

The appointment was made through a decree signed by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Balayeva has served as Minister of Culture and Information since September 2, 2023, following her initial appointment by presidential decree. She was reappointed to the same post on February 6, 2024, by the head of state.
