SHUSHA (Monitoring): — The opening ceremony of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, themed “The Mission of the Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust,” was held in Shusha on July 13. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the event and answered questions from the forum participants.
According to President Aliyev, “The idea of the forum was to create an atmosphere for media representatives from different parts of the world to address issues of common interest and mutual concern, while also giving them the opportunity to get acquainted with Garabagh and Shusha.”
During the opening session, President Aliyev answered questions from more than 20 participants. The forum brings together nearly 160 media representatives, experts, and officials from 53 countries.
Approximately 30 international news agencies, more than 60 leading media organizations, and delegates from around 10 international organizations and companies are represented at the event.
