Tajikistan Delivers New Humanitarian Aid Convoy to Gaza

A new shipment of humanitarian assistance from the government and people of Tajikistan has arrived in Gaza, reaffirming Dushanbe’s continued support for civilians affected by the conflict.
A convoy of six trucks carrying essential supplies entered the enclave. The cargo included food items, warm clothing, tents, and waterproof sheeting—critical supplies as thousands of displaced families endure difficult living conditions, The Caspian Post reports citing Tajik media.
The trucks crossed into Gaza via the Rafah crossing on the Egypt–Palestine border, in the presence of Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Egypt and representatives of Tajik charitable organizations. The coordinated effort reflects Tajikistan’s sustained diplomatic and humanitarian engagement in the region.
Officials noted that Tajikistan has consistently provided humanitarian and financial aid to Gaza since the outbreak of the conflict.
Previously, on February 6, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirodjidin Mukhriddin announced at a press conference in Dushanbe that the latest aid package had been dispatched. He also recalled that in January 2025, Tajikistan, together with several other countries, sent humanitarian supplies to Gaza, including 200 tons of wheat flour.
Reiterating the country’s position, Mukhriddin stressed that Tajikistan’s stance on Gaza remains unchanged, with Dushanbe continuing to call for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
