Turkmenistan Unlocks Major Gas Flow at Khazarli Field

A powerful natural gas flow has been discovered from a newly drilled well at the Khazarli field in Turkmenistan’s Lebap province.
Drilled by the Marynebitgazgozleg expedition of the Turkmengeology state corporation, the well is producing up to 120,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day, according to Turkmen media cited by The Caspian Post.
Designated Khazarli-3, the well is the first at the field to produce gas, underscoring fresh prospects for Turkmenistan’s gas sector and reinforcing the country’s energy production capacity.
