Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan Sign 15 MoUs to Boost Cooperation

ISLAMABAD:โ€” Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan on Thursday signed and exchanged 15 Memoranda of Understanding and agreements, marking a major step towards expanding bilateral cooperation across priority development sectors.

The agreements cover a wide range of areas, including energy, mining, trade, education, law and justice, agriculture, culture, and tourism. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Sadyr Zhaparov Nurgozhoevich following their delegation-level talks at the Prime Ministerโ€™s House.

The MoUs aim to further strengthen institutional collaboration, promote investment opportunities, enhance regional connectivity, and encourage closer people-to-people linkages between the two brotherly nations.

Earlier, President Zhaparov was welcomed with a guard of honour on his arrival at the Prime Ministerโ€™s House. The Prime Minister also hosted a luncheon in honour of the visiting dignitary and his delegation.
