Passenger Bound for Karachi Mistakenly Flown to Jeddah in Airline Mix-Up

Karachi: A passenger booked on a flight from Lahore to Karachi was mistakenly flown to Jeddah because of a private airline’s negligence. The Pakistan Airports Authority has taken serious note of the incident, and the Lahore Airport Manager has held the airline fully accountable.
The Airport Manager stated that the passenger’s unintended arrival in Jeddah was entirely due to the airline’s carelessness. The authority has also requested action be taken against the airline.
The passenger told the media that two planes were parked at the airport at the same time, and after boarding, he showed his ticket to the flight attendant. However, the flight attendant failed to alert him about boarding the wrong plane.
When the passenger asked the crew two hours later why the flight hadn’t reached Karachi yet, the staff became confused and blamed him for the error. Meanwhile, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has launched an inquiry into the matter.
