Iran Reaffirms Commitment to Nuclear Program Amid Attacks

ISLAMABAD: Iranian leaders have firmly declared that the country will not abandon its nuclear technology, despite recent airstrikes allegedly carried out by the United States and Israel.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi addressed local media on Tuesday, stating that Iranโ€™s nuclear capabilities are non-negotiable.

He emphasized that the program is the result of decades of scientific effort and national sacrifice.

โ€œWe have worked extremely hard to acquire nuclear technology,โ€ said Araghchi.

โ€œOur scientists have made great sacrifices, and the Iranian people have endured many hardships.

We will not give it up under any circumstances.โ€

Iran Labels Nuclear Program Peaceful and Vital

The airstrikes reportedly targeted Iranโ€™s facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahanโ€”sites still monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

President Donald Trump claimed the attacks aimed to dismantle Iranโ€™s nuclear capabilities.

In response, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi stated that the infrastructure is well-established and resilient.

He stressed that Iranโ€™s nuclear development is peaceful and central to its scientific progress.

โ€œThis industry is rooted in the Iranian nation and cannot be destroyed by force,โ€ Kamalvandi said.
He added that advancing nuclear science is not optional for Iranโ€”it is necessary.

Restoration Work Underway at Damaged Sites

Iranโ€™s nuclear chief Mohammad Eslami confirmed that technical teams are assessing and repairing affected nuclear facilities.

He said efforts are focused on maintaining uninterrupted research and energy production.

โ€œOur goal is to avoid disruption in nuclear services,โ€ Eslami told Mehr News Agency.
โ€œRestoration efforts are already in progress.โ€

Despite global pressure and military action, Iranian leadership remains united in defending the future of its nuclear program.
