Pakistan Condemns Modi’s Inflammatory Remarks

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned recent remarks made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing them as hate-filled and provocative.
The Foreign Office spokesperson stated that such statements violate diplomatic norms and go against the core principles of the United Nations. Pakistan views these comments as an intentional effort to escalate tensions in the region and undermine peace efforts.
The spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan remains committed to defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any threats.
Threats to Regional Stability
The spokesperson highlighted that Modi’s statements reflect a dangerous and reckless mindset, which risks destabilizing the already fragile peace in South Asia.
These inflammatory remarks are seen as a distraction from India’s ongoing policies in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including attempts to alter territorial boundaries and reports of human rights violations. Pakistan urged the international community to take note of India’s provocative rhetoric and the potential consequences it poses for regional harmony.

Pakistan reaffirmed its readiness to counter any form of aggression, asserting that it possesses the capability and determination to protect its borders and national interests.
The spokesperson underscored that peace and stability can only be ensured through dialogue, respect for international law, and mutual understanding among neighboring countries.
Commitment to Peace and International Cooperation
Despite the tension, Pakistan reiterated its long-standing commitment to peace, cooperation, and global security. The country remains an active partner in United Nations peacekeeping missions and continues to contribute to international counter-terrorism efforts. Pakistan called on India to reflect on the rising extremism within its own borders and to abandon hostile rhetoric that damages bilateral relations
. The Foreign Office concluded by stressing that peaceful coexistence is only achievable through mutual respect, adherence to international norms, and constructive engagement.
