Uzbekistan Hosts Major Iraqi Business Delegation to Boost Trade and Investment Ties

Uzbekistan is welcoming a large business delegation from Iraq, with around 200 entrepreneurs visiting the country on the initiative of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

According to The Caspian Post, citing Uzbek media, the program includes visits to Tashkent and Samarkand, where business forums and bilateral business-to-business (B2B) meetings will be held between companies from both countries.

Discussions are expected to center on expanding cooperation across a broad range of sectors, including electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food processing, construction materials and furniture production, textiles, automotive manufacturing, and tourism.

Organizers say the engagements will provide a practical platform for establishing direct business links, strengthening trade relations, and exploring opportunities for joint investment and partnership projects between Uzbek and Iraqi firms.
