
ISLAMABAD -: The Sultanate of Oman marked its National Day with Ambassador of Oman to Pakistan, His Excellency Fahad Sulaiman Khalaf Al Kharusi, extending warm greetings and praising the “excellent, close, warm, brotherly, and cordial” relations between the two countries.
In his message, Ambassador Al Kharusi said the day commemorates the Renewed Renaissance of Oman under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. He noted that His Majesty has consistently worked toward elevating Oman’s cultural and economic stature and ensuring that citizens remain “true partners in their country’s comprehensive development.”
Reflecting on the longstanding Oman–Pakistan relationship, the Ambassador expressed great satisfaction, describing the ties as friendly, cooperative, and aligned on regional and international issues. He said the relationship holds “significant potential” for further expansion.
“I firmly believe that there are high potentials for increasing the ties in commercial and economic fields,” Ambassador Al Kharusi stated, urging the launch of additional programs and projects to boost bilateral trade.
He also pointed out promising opportunities for mutual investment, saying, “There are more opportunities for Pakistanis to invest in Oman, and so can the Omanis do here, for the mutual benefits of our economies.”

Beyond economic cooperation, the Ambassador highlighted the rich cultural heritage shared by both nations and called for steps to enhance cultural exchange in a meaningful and exemplary manner.
Oman celebrates its National Day on November 20th, a moment to reflect on national achievements and future aspirations. Ambassador Al Kharusi’s message reaffirmed the strong foundation on which Oman and Pakistan continue to build a deeper, more dynamic partnership.
