Uzbekistan’s Dried Apricot Exports Surge, Reach 56 Countries

Uzbekistan significantly increased its dried apricot exports during January–November 2025, shipping 23,900 tons to 56 countries worldwide and generating revenues of $45.8 million.

Export volumes rose by 13,700 tons compared to the same period last year, representing a 2.4-fold increase, The Caspian Post reported, citing Uzbek media.

The sharp rise reflects an expanded export footprint alongside steadily growing global demand for Uzbek dried apricots.

China emerged as the largest buyer during the period, importing 5,500 tons. Kazakhstan followed with 4,600 tons, while Türkiye ranked third with imports of 4,100 tons.

Russia imported 1,800 tons, Ukraine accounted for 1,500 tons, and the remaining countries collectively purchased around 6,500 tons, highlighting the widening international appeal of Uzbekistan’s dried fruit exports.
