ISLAMABAD: — The first five Pakistani students selected for a university scholarship program in Cuba have officially received their assignment letters, according to a briefing at the Cuban Embassy.
The students are the first of 11 scholarship recipients from Pakistan and have completed the initial administrative requirements to study medicine. During a meeting with Cuban Ambassador Damián Cordero, the students were briefed on the academic process and the code of ethics required for international students.
The official signing of the assignment letters concludes the initial selection phase, with the remaining six scholarships yet to be finalized.
