
ISLAMABAD — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan hosted a mango festival for members of the diplomatic community and their families at the Serena Hotel on Monday. The event featured an exhibition of various Pakistani mango varieties alongside mango-based culinary items, aiming to highlight the fruit while promoting cultural exchange and soft diplomacy.
Diplomatic representatives and international guests in attendance observed the diversity of the fruit varieties on display. Participants noted that the festival served as a gathering for the international community while highlighting one of Pakistan’s primary agricultural exports. Attendees also characterized the fruit as a symbol of the country’s “sweet power” and an effective tool of cultural diplomacy.
