Azerbaijan’s Foreign Policy Chief Meets Tech Executives at Shusha Media Forum

SHUSHA (Monitoring): — Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev held productive meetings at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum with representatives of TikTok, LinkedIn and digital media experts, Report informs, citing Hajiyev’s post on X. Hajiyev met with Diana Ryan, Head of Government Relations and Public Policy for Eastern Europe at TikTok, and Seamus Clancy, Head of Public Sector and NFP Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Latin America at LinkedIn. He also met with Dr. Karen Sutherland, Director of Dharana Digital, as well as an AI and social media educator, researcher and author. The meetings focused on expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan, digital governance and the implementation of Azerbaijan’s new legislation to better protect children online. The sides also exchanged views on international best practices.
