Uzbekistan Ambassador Presents Memoirs of Babur to Baburi Forum
ISLAMABAD โ In a significant gesture of cultural diplomacy, His Excellency Alisher Tukhtayev, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, presented a copy of the historic “Babur Nama” to Mr. Ramzan Mughal, Senior Photo Journalist and President of the Baburi Forum Islamabad. This presentation serves as a testament to the deep-rooted historical and literary ties between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, centered on the enduring legacy of Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur. The “Babur Nama,” which is the world-renowned autobiography of the first Mughal Emperor, remains a vital historical bridge and a primary source of shared heritage between the two nations.
During the exchange, Ambassador Tukhtayev highlighted the importance of such gestures in fostering a greater understanding of the Central and South Asian cultural synthesis.
