Uzbekistan Tops ‘Team Spirit’ Military Contest in Pakistan with Record Score

The national team of Uzbekistan’s Defense Ministry secured first place at the ninth International “Team Spirit” competition in Pakistan, delivering a record-breaking performance and reaffirming its high military training standards.
The Uzbek team posted an exceptional score of 97.3 per cent — the highest result of this year’s tournament. The competition featured 34 teams from 19 countries, all tested on endurance, coordination and tactical proficiency, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
Participants were tasked with completing a demanding 90-kilometer route, overcoming 31 obstacles and carrying out practical assignments under rigorous conditions. The Uzbek servicemen finished the course in 33 hours and 34 minutes.
They also set a new competition record in the casualty evacuation event, carrying a simulated 80-kilogram wounded person over a five-kilometer distance in just 27 minutes.
Malaysia placed second with 82.1 per cent, while the United States took third with 76.4 per cent. The victory marks Uzbekistan’s second consecutive win at the event, after topping last year’s standings with 95 per cent, ahead of teams from China and Bahrain.
