Japanese Ambassador Akamatsu Shuichi Visits Peshawar Museum

ISLAMABAD: โ€” H.E. Mr. Akamatsu Shuichi, Ambassador of Japan, along with the Counsellor/Head of the Public Affairs Section and Mr. Rafay Haleem, Cultural Advisor, recently visited the historic Peshawar Museum to explore its renowned collection of Gandharan artefacts. The delegation was given a detailed tour of the museum, highlighting the rich cultural and historical legacy preserved within its walls.

During the visit, the Japanese officials expressed their admiration for the museumโ€™s efforts in conserving and showcasing Pakistanโ€™s ancient heritage.

The visit underscored the growing global recognition of Pakistanโ€™s archaeological treasures and the commitment of local authorities to maintain and promote these invaluable cultural assets.
