ISLAMABAD:- The second National Tourism Awards Ceremony, organized by Discover Pakistan in collaboration with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), was held in Islamabad where the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture & Tourism Authority (KP CTA) once again emerged victorious. The authority was conferred a National Award for its innovative Tourism Management Information System, recognizing KPโs digital progress in tourism facilitation.
Director General of KP Culture & Tourism Authority, Habibullah Arif, received the award on behalf of the organization. This recognition adds to a growing list of accolades for the authority, which has previously earned top honors nationwide for the same digital initiative.
Earlier this year, the KP Culture & Tourism Authority made history by winning the prestigious Gold Award at PASHA 2025 in the Public Sector Category (Digital Government & Citizen Services). The honor was awarded after 1,633 organizations from across the country presented their digital systems and platforms, making KPโs achievement stand out as a remarkable milestone in Public Service Transformation.
This PASHA award celebrated the authorityโs commitment to advancing digital tourism, enhancing service delivery, and strengthening Pakistanโs image as an emerging hub of tourism technology.
