Tajikistan’s Tcell Partners with Mawj Platforms to Boost Central Asia’s Creative Economy

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan’s leading digital operator Tcell has announced a strategic partnership with Mawj Platforms to build a unified digital media ecosystem aimed at strengthening the creative economy in Central Asia, Trend reported.

The collaboration will merge Tcell’s telecommunications infrastructure with Mawj’s regional streaming and content platform, often described as a Central Asian equivalent of Spotify. Mawj hosts music and media content in Persian, Dari, Tajik, Pashto, Urdu, and Indian languages, targeting a broad regional audience.

Tcell CEO Ozodkhon Davlatshoev said the partnership seeks to create “a modern digital environment” that empowers local creators to expand their reach and develop sustainable digital businesses.

Amo Bagh Jan, founder of Mawj Platforms, said the initiative will act as a “digital bridge” connecting Central Asia’s creative communities to global markets, helping showcase the region’s cultural talent to the world.
