It stressed that dialogue, diplomacy, and peaceful negotiation under the framework of the UN Charter are the only viable solutions to the growing crisis.
The statement reiterated Pakistanโs commitment to peace, encouraging all sides to step back and pursue a diplomatic path.
Dar Slams Israeli Aggression, Affirms Iranโs Rights
Speaking at the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar echoed these concerns.
He strongly condemned Israelโs military aggression against Iran and described it as a serious breach of international norms.
Dar highlighted what he termed the โdouble standardsโ in global responses to Israel’s actions and warned against undermining regional peace for political interests.
He reaffirmed Pakistanโs unwavering support for Iranโs right to self-defense and stressed that the Iran-Israel conflict must be resolved through diplomacy.
Pakistan, he concluded, remains dedicated to efforts that support long-term peace, dialogue, and stability in the Middle East.
