PML-N Strengthened Defence and Advanced Missile Technology: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has reiterated that his party played a crucial role in strengthening Pakistanโ€™s defence capabilities and advancing missile technology, contrasting sharply with the previous governmentโ€™s performance.

Speaking to the media outside his residence in London, Nawaz Sharif highlighted the partyโ€™s achievements in national development and security.

Nawaz Sharif proudly mentioned that under PML-Nโ€™s tenure, Pakistan carried out successful nuclear explosions and collaborated with China to build JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft. โ€œWe gave missile technology to Pakistan, and significantly enhanced the countryโ€™s defence,โ€ he said. He expressed gratitude for the recent election victory, emphasizing that people continue to trust PML-N due to its tangible work.

Emphasizing Development and Stability

Nawaz Sharif pointed out that the countryโ€™s economy is gradually improving under PML-Nโ€™s efforts. โ€œDuring our government, the rupee remained stable for four years, and the growth rate touched 7%,โ€ he said, underscoring the need for political work that benefits the people.

He stressed that political parties earn votes through effective governance and development, not merely rhetoric.

The PML-N leader also highlighted that the nationโ€™s conditions are steadily returning to stability, and overall development is progressing. โ€œEverything is improving step by step,โ€ he added, reinforcing the partyโ€™s commitment to the countryโ€™s future.
