Kyrgyzstan and India are stepping up efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation following a high-level meeting in New Delhi involving senior diplomats and prominent figures from Indiaโs business and cultural sectors.
Kyrgyzstanโs Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to India, Askar Beshimov, met with leaders of the Pythian Games initiative, including founder Bijender Goel, and Gaurav Gupta, President of the Global Trade & Technology Council of India, according to Kyrgyz media cited by The Caspian Post.
Discussions centered on expanding KyrgyzstanโIndia cooperation, including within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). Particular focus was placed on Indiaโs participation in the World Delphic Games, set to be held in Kyrgyzstan from March 24 to 27.
The talks also covered organizational and logistical aspects of the event, as well as opportunities to showcase Indiaโs rich cultural heritage on an international stage.
In addition, the meeting highlighted plans for an upcoming visit by a delegation of Indian business leaders to Kyrgyzstan. The visit is expected to pave the way for new partnerships and joint projects in priority sectors such as IT, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and green energyโkey areas seen as drivers of future cooperation between the two countries.
