Pakistan Eye 3-0 Series Sweep Against Bangladesh Today

LAHORE: Pakistan will look to complete a dominant 3-0 series whitewash when they face Bangladesh in the final T20 International at the historic Gaddafi Stadium today. Having already secured the series, the hosts have an opportunity to experiment with their squad, fine-tune combinations, and build momentum under captain Salman Agha’s leadership.

Strong Start to the Series

Pakistan began the series impressively, winning the opening match by 37 runs. Batting first, they posted a competitive total of 201 for 7 in 20 overs. Bangladesh struggled in reply and were dismissed for 164. In the second T20I, Pakistan again showed their strength by setting the same target of 201 runs, finishing at 201 for 6. Bangladesh faltered under pressure, managing only 144 runs, handing Pakistan a convincing 57-run win and a 2-0 lead.

Momentum and Future Prospects

The third match offers Pakistan a chance not only to complete the clean sweep but also to test their bench strength and build confidence for upcoming challenges in T20 cricket. The team’s aggressive batting and composed bowling have been key factors in their success against Bangladesh’s relatively inexperienced squad.
