Netanyahu Insists Killing Khamenei Will End War Permanently

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again insisted that assassinating Iranโ€™s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would not escalate conflict but rather bring a permanent end to the ongoing war. Speaking in an interview with ABC News, Netanyahu dismissed the possibility that Israel would refrain from targeting Khamenei.

Iran on the Brink of Nuclear War

Netanyahu accused Iran of pushing the region to the edge of nuclear war, stating, โ€œIran wants war forever. They have brought us to the brink of a nuclear conflict. What Israel is doing is ending their aggression.โ€ He emphasized that Israel has already targeted Iranian nuclear scientists to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power.

U.S. Rejection of Assassination Plan

Despite Netanyahuโ€™s stance, U.S. President Donald Trump has rejected Israelโ€™s plan to kill Khamenei. When asked about Trumpโ€™s veto, Netanyahu responded, โ€œWe are doing what we must. I will not go into details.โ€

Netanyahu highlighted that Israel has been confronting Iranโ€™s aggression for over fifty years and asserted that peace can only be achieved by standing up to such โ€œforces of evil.
