Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Meets UAE Deputy Prime Minister to Discuss Visa Reforms for Pakistanis

Abu Dhabi: In a significant diplomatic engagement, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held talks with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan to address visa-related challenges faced by Pakistani nationals.
The meeting focused on streamlining visa procedures, especially work visas, and enhancing cooperation to prevent illegal immigration and smuggling. Both sides agreed on leveraging advanced technology and artificial intelligence to improve security measures.
Sheikh Saif assured continued support for Pakistan, while Naqvi emphasized the valuable contribution of Pakistanis to the UAE’s economy and expressed optimism about upcoming visa facilitation measures.
During his visit, Naqvi also observed Abu Dhabi Police’s modern operations center and acknowledged their efforts in maintaining public safety. The two countries pledged to deepen collaboration in security, immigration, and economic sectors.
