Kyrgyz Gosfinholding Quadruples Regional Development Financing in 2025 with $10.4 Million in New Projects

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 4 โ€” Kyrgyzstanโ€™s State Financial Holding Company, Gosfinholding OJSC, has dramatically expanded its regional development financing this year, approving 184 projects worth $10.4 million in the first nine months of 2025, Trend reports, citing data from the Ministry of Finance.

These, 128 projects received direct financing totaling $6.8 million. The initiatives are supported through Regional Development Funds, sourced from mining company contributions and subsoil-use royalties. Funding is extended as budgetary loans at an annual interest rate of 2 percent, in accordance with government regulations.

The surge marks a major jump from previous yearsโ€”38 projects totaling $1.8 million in 2024, and 34 projects worth $1.6 million in 2023โ€”underscoring a sharp rise in both the scale and scope of regional investment under Gosfinholdingโ€™s management.

Gosfinholding OJSC, operating under the jurisdiction of the Kyrgyz Republic, serves as the stateโ€™s key financial management institution, tasked with administering fiscal assets, mobilizing domestic capital for investment, and facilitating access to credit to spur sustainable regional growth.
