Ankara Hosts Inaugural Türkiye–Uzbekistan 4+4 Strategic Talks

Türkiye and Uzbekistan convened the first meeting of their newly established 4+4 format mechanism in Ankara on Tuesday, bringing together senior officials overseeing foreign affairs, defense, interior, and intelligence from both countries.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan participated in the talks alongside National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, and National Intelligence Organization (MIT) chief Ibrahim Kalin, according to a statement shared by the Turkish Foreign Ministry on the NSosyal platform. The Caspian Post reported the development citing Anadolu.
The ministry said the Turkish delegation met with their Uzbek counterparts under the framework of the new mechanism, marking a step forward in bilateral coordination.
