ISLAMABAD: Lady Gaga stole the spotlight at Netflix’s Tudum event on Saturday night, delivering a thrilling tribute to the hit series Wednesday and stunning fans by bringing out the show’s star, Jenna Ortega, in a dramatic on-stage reveal.

The performance took place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and instantly became the talk of the night.

Gothic-Themed Performance and Iconic Dance Tribute

Gaga captivated the audience with an electrifying eight-minute medley, including her latest single, Abracadabra. Embracing the gothic vibe, she emerged from a coffin labeled “Here Lies the Mother Queen” and was surrounded by dancers dressed as variations of Wednesday Addams.

In a nod to the show’s viral moments, Gaga flawlessly performed the famous dance sequence originally done by Jenna Ortega to The Cramps’ “Goo Goo Muck,” which fans had famously mashed up with Gaga’s hit Bloody Mary.

The excitement peaked when Ortega herself appeared on stage, fully in character as Wednesday, navigating a spiderweb-laced dining table.

Gaga closed the spectacular act with a rendition of Zombieboy and the Addams Family theme before disappearing back into the coffin.

Netflix seized the moment to officially announce Gaga’s cameo in Wednesday Season 2 as Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary teacher at Nevermore Academy.

Filmed in Ireland, Gaga’s appearance has been highly anticipated since late 2023. Fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere, with Part 1 releasing on August 6 and Part 2 on September 3.
