Shaheen, Rizwan, Haris Join Big Bash League Draft

LAHORE: Pakistanโ€™s top cricketers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf, and Shadab Khan have registered for the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) draft.

The draft will take place on June 19 and will cover both BBL 15 and WBBL 11 seasons.

Over 600 international players have signed up to participate, highlighting the eventโ€™s global appeal.

Pakistan Womenโ€™s team captain Fatima Sana is also among the registered players for the womenโ€™s draft, marking a strong presence for Pakistan in both categories.

The initial BBL 15 list includes international stars such as West Indiesโ€™ Shamar Joseph, New Zealandโ€™s Lockie Ferguson and Tim Southee, Englandโ€™s Sam Curran and Alex Hales, and Sri Lankaโ€™s Kusal Perera.

For the WBBL 11 draft, notable players include Englandโ€™s Heather Knight, Lauren Bell, Danni Wyatt, and Sophie Ecclestone.

Other key names are Indiaโ€™s Jemimah Rodrigues and Shikha Pandey, South Africaโ€™s Shabnim Ismail and Chloe Tryon, and West Indiesโ€™ Deandra Dottin.
