Finch Excited as Babar, Rizwan, Shaheen Set for BBL Debut

ISLAMABAD: Former Australian captain Aaron Finch has expressed excitement over the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) season, where Pakistanโs Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi will make their debut.
BBL 15 will mark the first time the trio participates in Australiaโs top domestic T20 league.
Finch, a longtime BBL player, believes their presence will boost the tournamentโs standard and global viewership.
Praise for Pakistanโs Star Trio
Speaking to media, Finch praised Shaheen Afridiโs impact as a bowler and captain.
He highlighted Shaheenโs success in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and his evolution into a complete leader.
โGreat to have him. Heโs well-rounded and experienced,โ Finch said.
The former captain also lauded Babar Azamโs graceful technique.
โProbably the most beautiful batsman youโll ever watch,โ he said.
Finch described Rizwan as a โpocket rocketโ and a dynamic force at the top of the order.
BBL 15 Set for Global Spotlight
Rizwan and Shaheen were selected within the top four picks of the BBL 15 overseas draft.
Babar had already been signed by Sydney Sixers before the draft began.
This marks a rare opportunity as all three players will be available due to a gap in international commitments.
Finch emphasized that BBLโs local players will benefit by competing against the worldโs best.
He believes the inclusion of Pakistani talent will help the league regain its early momentum.
With BBL 15 approaching, fans in Australia and Pakistan are eagerly awaiting the trioโs debut.
